Regional Overview of the Status of Sexuality Education in 25 Countries of the WHO European Region (English)

In the period 2016 - 2017, Federal Institute of Public Health (former BZgA) and the European Network of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF EN) initiated an extensive survey about the development and current status of sexuality education in Europe and Central Asia, covering 25 selected countries of the WHO European Region.

This research fills a major knowledge gap about the information available about the status of sexuality education in the WHO European Region following the publication of two previous seperate reports by the Federal Institute of Public Health and IPPF En in 2006.

The regional overview presents a summary of key findings on the status of sexuality education for all 25 countries as well as main conclusions and recommendations.
